Detailed property description:

-This 2nd floor 1 bedroom apartment is situated in a fabulous position overlooking Rue de la Republique, the main pedestrian street of the old town of Antibes. In the evenings enjoy a glass of wine with local olives, bread and cheese, while watching the world go by, it`s better than TV! And try to resist the goodies from the `Boulangerie` directly opposite the apartment for breakfast. It`s a minute walk to 2 local supermarkets, a couple of minutes to the Provencal Market, and 9/10 minutes to either of the beaches. On entry to the apartment you come to the spacious living area with access to the balcony. To the left is the bedroom with en-suite bathroom, with bath and shower. To the right is the fully fitted modern kitchen complete with dishwasher. The whole apartment is tastefully decorated and has lovely beamed ceilings. This is a lovely light and airy apartment in a perfect position to spend a very happy holiday in Antibes. Everything in the apartment is new this season.

Area description:

-Antibes is known for its yacht marina, the largest in Europe, with its International Quay, which is home to some of the biggest `Megayachts` in the World, its Provencal market, Picasso museum and medieval Ramparts. It has its own sheltered, sandy beach, and is within walking distance to several others. The Provencal fresh produce market runs every day in the summer and is not to be missed. In the evenings it turns into an outdoor restaurant scene, sharing the space with local artists` stalls. Just behind the market is Antibes`s Cathedral, the setting for outdoor concerts in the summer months. The Old Town is full of lovely cobbled shopping streets, pavement cafes and countless restaurants to choose from. Thursdays is market day in the Old Town with thousands of stalls spread all over, selling anything from bikinis to carpets. On Saturdays, Place National is the setting for an Antiques market. Nearby Juan-les-Pins is a major holiday destination, with a casino & private beaches.

EXCELLENT LOCATION, VERY CLEAN, GOOD SIZE, WELL EQUIPED, TWO STOREY FLIGHT OF STAIRS IS THE ONLY DOWN SIDE IF YOU HAVE A PRAM, THOUGH FINE OTHERWISE.

Lovely apartment in a central location, on a main pedestrian street. Happily the apt looks exactly as it does in the photos on the website. Owner lives nearby in case of problem, but there was none! Couch was comfortable for adults, large bed made our daughter happy!

Absolutely fantastic appartment. Close to everything. Boulangeries, cafes & restaurants all around you. Has TV, DVD and CD with USB if you want to play music from your MP3 player. Also has a small balcony where you can eat and watch the world go by! 10 minute walk to the public beach in the old town which is probably the nicest beach. Would definitely recommend this appartment.
