We were aware that the Mdme Guedes did not speak any English, however she was not even there to welcome us and all her mother did was passed over the keys with no other details. It was only by a stroke of luck that a passer-by who lived in the apartment block showed us where to go andhow to get into the gates. We then had problems getting into the apartment, as there were three visible working locks and we tried all. The middle lock turned twice and seemed to unlock however we had to get another resident to help us as it needed another half turn - how we were supposed to know that I don`t know?

The property is great. Lovely views.Convenient to most facilities.Enjoyed the stay. The unit however has drawbacks, the location is accessed by a steep climb, no good for the unfit or people who have difficulty in walking. Instuctions to operate the appliences are not in English. Could not access the internet.

Very nice property in a good location, I would go back again. No hot water on the last day but I think the whole block was affected, so not anyone`s fault really. Check in and check out could have been a bit better but overall really enjoyed our stay
