This newly rennovated bourgeois apartment is located right in the very heart of the old town of Cannes, Le Suquet. With floor to ceiling south facing windows and 3.25m high ceilings the apartment is wonderfully light and airy and has been refurbished to a very high standard. There is a 7m long south facing balcony which is a veritable suntrap. The apartment is on the top floor of the building but the entrance is actualy on the same level so there isn`t lots of flights of stairs to climb. All modern fittings are provided including a fully equipped kitchen and dining area. Sitting area with radio, stereo and air conditioning unit. There is also Wi-Fi internet access available throughout the apartment as well as a printer for any office needs you may have.
There are two separate bedrooms with wardrobes. The apartment is wonderfully quiet and being in a residential area is a true French experience.
The old town of Le Suquet is a wonderful area of Cannes with all the charm of a real French neighbourhood yet still being minutes walk to all the restaurants, beaches and of course Palais des Festivals. Le Suquet is in fact closer on foot to the Palais than the big hotels the Carlton and Martinez. The area is very quiet and is only a 3 mins walk to the public beaches. The `restaurant street` Rue du Suquet/ Rue St Antoine is within steps from the apartment as are boulangers and grocery stores in the square of the old town. The bus station is within 5 minutes walk at the foot of the old town. The area is up on the old hill though so there is an incline to walk up to get to the apartments meaning this may not be a quitable location for infirm or disabled guests.
