Our large tradtional savoyard style chalet with open log fire and sauna is available for holidays throughout the year. Koala has the warmth and cosiness of a family home, serves hearty home cooked food, using fresh local produce where possible, for hungry skiers and nothing is too much trouble.CHALET RUNNING ON A CATERED BASIS FROM MID DECEMBER TO APRIL.

Koala is a great place for large groups or family get togethers with a mixed layout of bedrooms we can entertain small groups as happily as large chalet parties and welcome from 1 - 21 guests. The chalet has the traditional savoyard charm using pine pannelling, wooden beams and natural stone. The large lounge with comfy leather sofas, honesty bar and open fire is a great place to relax or watch tv, video, dvd or listen to music. The informal dining area leads onto the balcony with spectacular views of the Ardent Valley and Morzine, a great place to have breakfast in the summer months or a drink as the sun goes down. There is a full size table tennis table in the games room along with table football and darts and next door a den with playstation2, tv, dvd, video and hifi. A great favorite with children or a place to chill. We also have books, toys and games for all ages. For the summer there`s a splash pool, garden furniture, bbq etc which guests are welcome to use as we run the summer months on a bed and breakfast basis with the option of an evening meal. We have sledges and outdoor games which guests are welcome to use also. A great chalet for all; families, friends or work groups1

DURING THE SUMMER IT IS POSSIBLE TO RENT THE CHALET ON A SELF CATERED BASIS AND CAN SLEEP UP TO 21 IN SEVEN BEDROOMS, THERE ARE ALSO TWO COTS, A HIGH CHAIR AND STAIR GATE SHOULD YOUR PARTY HAVE SMALL CHILDREN.

IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT THE MANAGER LIVES IN THE CHALET ON THE TOP FLOOR AND WOULD NOT HAVE USE OF THE KITCHEN FACILITIES.

During the winter the chalet is run on a catered basis and the price includes accomodation, breakfast, afternoon tea and a three course evening meal with wine and coffee on six nights out of seven. We offer discounts for children if sharing a room with adults and eating the earlier two course supper. In the summer it is bed and breakfast, again with discounts for children if sharing with adults.

Our chalet is on the road to the Ardent Lift, just five minutes on the free ski bus which stops at the end of our drive giving access to the areas of Avoriaz, Chatel and into Switzerland. The Portes du Soleil has over 650km of marked pistes and spans 14 resorts making it the largest linked ski area in the world with something for everyone, beginners or the more experienced and board parks for the crazy.
In the summer it is an extreme sports paradise with everything on our door step, mountain biking, golf, parapenting, white water rafting to name but a few or just relax by lake Montriond, the third largest in the region or take a trip, just 30 minutes to Lake Geneva!
