Set in an exclusive and tranquil residential neighbourhood, Villa Aphrodite is 10 minutes` drive from the centre of Cannes. The charming medieval village of Mougins with its renowned gourmet restaurants can be seen from the villa garden. From the stylish entrance hall, steps lead down to the splendid sitting room. The cathedral ceiling encourages bright natural light to flood in from the garden through the large patio doors.
A formal dining room is located next to the brand new modern kitchen. A further extensive dining area on the shaded terrace provides the perfect place for carefree holiday meals and barbecues.
There are seven beautiful bedrooms: three doubles and four twins. Five have en suite bathrooms and there are two additional bathrooms with showers.
The sitting room features a cosy reading corner with a fireplace and an indoor balcony. Upstairs, a further set of steps leads you out to the roof terraces with stunning panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the bay of Cannes. The property was great, very good location and we really enjoyed or stay. A few negative points - one of the bath / showers did not work, the heating was not very powerful, and we had a problem with ants in the kitchen.
