A prettily decorated flat with attractive views of the hills to the east, and of 1920`s villas and gardens (palm, olive and orange trees, mimosa etc) from the two balconies. Situated in the heart of Cannes just 9 minutes walk from the Festival Hall and 7 mins from the Croisette.
FULLY AIR-CONDITONED. There is a large Master Bedroom (large double bed), with en-suite bathroom with wc, fitted wardrobe, sitting/study area, and a west-facing balcony to enjoy the afternoon/evening sun.
The second double bedroom, living room and fully-equipped kitchen all open onto a long balcony, facing east, enjoying the sun until mid-day. There is a brand-new second shower room with wc, and a 3rd independant wc.The flat is in a quiet residential area but very central; it is on the 4th floor (with lift), very sunny. It is just 7 min walk from the seafront (La Croisette), 5 minutes walk from the smart shops in rue d`Antibes, and about 9 minutes walk from the Palais des Festivals. Buses pass within 100 metres, and there is a local supermarket also 100m away. The kitchen is fully equipped (full-size oven, 4 ring hob & extractor, m/w, dishwasher and washing machine, fridge/freezer and a table for 3 - 4 people.
Centrally but quietly situated in glamorous Cannes, famous for it`s Film Festival and the glitterati, with some of the best shops in the world on your doorstep, just a few minutes walk from the Croisette, where you can stroll along and admire the beautiful yachts and sunsets... and just `people-watch` from one of the (free) blue chairs, or enjoy the beautiful private or public beach. St Tropez (take a boat!), Grasse, Nice (explore the Flower Market and Old City) and Italy are all easily accessible by car or train. Or explore the quaint old town of Cannes `Le Suquet`, the museums, antique and flower markets on foot or with the help of `Le Petit Train`, and have your photo taken on the red carpet of the Palais des Festivals. For shopping the rue d`Antibes is HEAVEN! Very stylish shops, not necessarily expensive. For everyday needs there are a supermarket, boulangerie, bars, restaurants etc within 100 metres, and the food markets at Place Gambetta and Forville are nearby.

Just as explained it is sunny, convenient and spaciousfor 4 people (or even more!)...Very quite night and day, but all the bars, restaurants and shops just a 10 minute walk away..Would love to go back!" On the main side of the apartment there is a lovely view across to the hills above Cannes and from the main bedroom there is also a pleasant view. It was extremely clean and well equipped for cooking. The apartment was very suitable for our family with two teenage daughters as it has a shower room, a seperate bath/shower room and a third WC. It is ideally located in a nice quiet area, yet it only took ten minutes to get to La Croisette, the beach and Rue d`Antibe, the main shopping area. The landlord was extremely friendly making our experience in Cannes a delightful stay. I highly reccomend the place to anyone looking for a great place for a great value. (maura brennan) The property was described as being 4 mins walk/300 metres from the palais. after we booked it, the description on the site changed to 12 mins walk, 900 metres from the palais. it was at least a twenty minute walk to the palais. There were cockroaches and the floors were filthy - our feet were black within a few minutes of walking around in there. the toilet did not flush properly and really needs to be replaced. (Marie Bateson) Landlord reply: The website www.mappy.fr shows the apartment to be 860 m from the Palais, and 13 minutes walk, but there is a slightly shorter route than theirs, which I regularly walk in just 10 minutes. There were one or two "unwelcome guests", which were dealt with immediately and effectively.
