This spacious alpine-styled apartment comprises a comfortable, well furnished lounge/dining room, fully equipped kitchen, bath/shower room, entrance hall and utility cupboard.
It has two single beds and a double fold out bed.
The dining table seats up to four people and there is a TV and DVD player, we have a collection of films but you are also welcome to bring your own films or rent from the local rental shop.
It has heating and the added benefits of a balcony.
The kitchen is fully fitted with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, ceramic hob and a microwave. All the plates and cutlery you need will be provided.
The flat look out towards the river and the mountains of Chamonix.
CHAMONIX is unique and its pedestrian village of Chamonix Sud was built 20 years ago and fits perfectly with the architecture and the lifestyle of that famous resort.
Located at the foot of the cable car leading to the Aiguille du Midi (3842 m) and at a 3 minute walk from the very town centre, Chamonix Sud is a charming extension of the town of Chamonix.
With roofs with varied slopes, their loggias and their fine wooden balconies, the small buildings of Chamonix-Sud have the charm of typical ï¿1/2chalets chamoniardsï¿1/2.
They all differ one from the other and their frontages are elegantly decorated in pastel colours.
The square is surrounded by pleasant arcades allows for shopping and relaxation while your children can safely play.

Must mention the view from the balcony is great - you can see the mountains! Appartment is exactly as described - basic but functional. Only a few minor points worth mentioning for agents managing the appartment:Check-in to appartment tiny mare - opening times on internet print out is not the same as those shown on front of office in Chamonix....ended up phoning somebody after waiting 2 hours for office to open...and key had just been left in post box next to rental office. The appartment needs a really good clean - very dusty, and pillows/ duvet provided need washing.Sofa bed not pretty when cover removed.......! (Claire Gingell) Would really be a squeeze to fit 4 occupants. We had 3 and that was plenty. (Glenn Bloomer) We think the owner of the Bluebird is an excellent person to work with through the reservation and booking. He offered great `local` advice about Chamonix and was very informative. Unfortunately we had to cancel our trip to Chamonix due to my husband breaking his leg in a skiing accident in which he was unable to walk for 9 weeks. We did not get to stay at the Bluebird but hope to in the future. We give him a 10+ rating because we were so impressed by his communication and understanding of our situation. We can not really speak for the rental unit it`s self since we were unable to make the trip. (Jessica Moreland) The property is in a very good location but need some work and changes to be done inside. The sofa bed needs to be change, needs redecoration and there is no water pressure. Other ways I spend nice time there and I could rent it again .Thank you. (Iliyan Velev Donchev) Property was conveniently located for ski hire, supermarket and town centre restaurants. The underground car park was very useful, although we were given to understand prior to arrival that it was closed for refurbishment - fortunately it wasn`t! (David Cramond) For the price, a functional, comfortable, well equipped apartment in an excellent location (couple of minutes walk to centre of Chamonix, bus stop, bars etc). (Adrian Jones) Property was run down and not clean, it was not comfortable staying in the room as the bedding was old and dirty and kitchen and bathroom looked neglected and in need of repair or replacement (Stewart Edwards) Landlord reply: We were dismayed to see such a bad report - we want everyone who stays in our flat to have a great time. Out of over 40 booking to stay in bluebird over the years this is by far the worst report. We tried to contact Stewart and even offered a refund but he did not reply - if only he had contacted us I know we could have sorted him out. We are constantly upgrading the flat as we go along and this will force us to double our efforts. Excellent position and great property. Only complaint was that we could have done with a bit more information about where exactly the property is located.
